1) What computer software do I need to use MathOps?
MathOps is compatible with current PC and Mac operating systems including XPsp2, Vista and OSX. MathOps needs a modern browser and is known
to work in Internet Explorer version 6.5 or newer (including version 7), Firefox version 2 or 3, Safari version 3 and Opera version 9.

If you do not have one of these current browsers, Firefox is our site designer's favorite
browser and is available free. Installation of software is the subscriber's sole responsibility.
MathOps has not been tested on older operating systems such as Windows 2000, Windows 98 , Mac OS9 or OS8. MathOps has not been tested on
any form of the Linux operating system. If you are using any of those operating systems, we can not guarantee the operation of this site.
2) What computer hardware do I need to use MathOps?
MathOps is compatible with current PC and Mac computer hardware. A good way to insure you have the correct hardware is to visit our
free demo lessons (please make sure to try the lesson and video and quiz, make sure you can hear the audio).
You will need an internet connection: DSL,
satellite or cable are excellent. A 56k phone modem is the minimum required (28k modems are not supported). Users of 56k phone modems
will experience slow load times on the video and Flash lessons. MathOps should work with any standard wireless system (802.11b,g,n) attached
to an acceptable internet connection.
Your computer should have a 500MHz or faster processor.
Your monitor should be 800x600 pixels are larger and support thousands of colors or more.
Your computer must have a sound card or sound capabilities and speaker(s), either built in or separate. Stereo speakers are not required,
a single built-in speaker will work perfectly.
Hardware is the subscriber's sole responsibility.
